Stonemark managed a large team of structural, civil and geotechnical engineers for major slope repairs, drainage improvements, foundation underpinning, and correction of code violations for this community. Our expertise in managing engineering disciplines and value-engineering saved this Association significantly throughout all phases of the project.
Fairways Homeowners Association retained Stonemark Construction Management to assess, plan, specify and manage repairs to our roofing. Their experience became immediately apparent. When we received proposals from contractors in response to our Invitation to Bid, the bids were not favorable, jeopardizing our project. In order to secure proposals closer to budget, Stonemark had extensive discussions with the contractors. They provided several options on the scope of work, searched for alternative materials, analyzed savings ideas, and suggested flexible terms on warranty period and construction duration. Due to Stonemark’s additional efforts, we received two good proposals. In short, Stonemark thought “outside the box” on many issues in order to enable us to perform our project within our budget. Given Stonemark’s experience and knowledge and the tremendous value they added to our project, we would not hesitate to retain them again in the future and recommend them wholeheartedly.
